Whale sightings are guaranteed at the New Brunswick Museum, New Brunswick’s provincial museum and Canada’s oldest continuing museum. Discover New Brunswick’s art, history and nature on two floors of fully accessible galleries. Full-size whale models and skeletons on display all year round. Hear whale songs, view the Tidal Tower, and talk to our welcoming interpreters offering interactive activities that will introduce you to our province’s forestry, military and shipbuilding roots. There’s something for everyone at the Museum!
Join a museum interpreter for an outdoor walking tour highlighting New Brunswick’s changing landscapes. Thursdays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, and Saturdays 11:30am - 12:30pm during July, August and September. Or take the Discover Uptown Saint John Walking Tour, offered Tuesday - Friday at 2:00pm.
Visit the Boutique and take a little bit of New Brunswick home with you with works of over 40 New Brunswick and Maritime artisans.
