Join Kingston Peninsula Heritage for tea and treats at 1810 Carter House. House Tours and Julia Bates Reading Library are open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10 - 4, July 2 thru September 2, 2023. 

The Tearoom will be open weekly for regular business on Wednesdays only beginning on July 5th through to August 30th. Tuesdays, Thursday, and Fridays Tearoom Services are by reservation only and limited to bookings of 10 guests or more.

Land acknowledgement

The Saint John Region is situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’Kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati Nations. This territory is covered by Peace and Friendship Treaties signed with the British Crown in the 1700s. The treaties did not surrender the territory and resources, but recognized Wolastoqiyik, Mi’Kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati title, and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.
