Meetings & Conventions

It’s not just that the Saint John Region offers the only convention facilities on the awe-inspiring Bay of Fundy. When you host your event in our exceptional city of living history, urban energy, and natural splendour, you also treat your delegates to the best convention experience imaginable.

In addition to our waterfront convention facilities, many hotel rooms have a view of the Bay and many of the experiences your guests will enjoy will revolve around it – watching 28.5-foot tides rise and fall twice a day, getting an eagle eye view from the Plank viewing deck, or enjoying a lobster dinner on our vibrant, urban boardwalk.

Compact and convenient, Saint John is a safe and walkable city, with more than 12 art galleries, over 85 restaurants and bars, and numerous unique boutiques to explore - all within a few blocks. And our colourful and historic streets offer unique event venues and experiences. From the historical Imperial Theatre on King’s Square, to the waterfront convention centre, to Lily Lake Pavilion in beautiful Rockwood Park, at every turn your delegates will enjoy a Maritime experience and hospitality to be remembered.

Our all-season Inside Connection pedway links over 123,000 square feet of convention and exhibit space. In less than 5 minutes, your delegates can travel from the Convention Centre to retail, restaurants, and the Saint John City Market.

Land acknowledgement

The Saint John Region is situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’Kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati Nations. This territory is covered by Peace and Friendship Treaties signed with the British Crown in the 1700s. The treaties did not surrender the territory and resources, but recognized Wolastoqiyik, Mi’Kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati title, and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.

Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency pays respect to the elders, past and present, and descendants of this land, and is committed to moving forward in the spirit of truth, collaboration, and reconciliation.
