Marathon by the Sea is changing it up for 2022, with a number of work projects affecting their 2022 marathon event, they have decided for 2022 only, to create New Brunswick’s newest running event the Bay of Fundy 30K.
Saint John is an excellent base which to enjoy the Emera Bay of Fundy 30K and sub events – Osco Construction Harbour Front Half Marathon, Source Atlantic Reversing Falls 10K, Atlantic Superstore Harbour Passage 5K and the Aim Recycling Atlantic 3 x 5K Port City Challenge and Color your World 4K.

The Saint John Region is situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’Kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati Nations. This territory is covered by Peace and Friendship Treaties signed with the British Crown in the 1700s. The treaties did not surrender the territory and resources, but recognized Wolastoqiyik, Mi’Kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati title, and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.
