Open Mic Night with Dave & Doug

October 25 - September 18

Open Mic at Long Bay is the perfect opportunity to come out and enjoy local talent, get up and try out some of your new material, or play your favourite cover tunes.

Let's get to know our Open mic Hosts!!

Doug released his first album in 1996 under the band name and album title, Tenderfoot Pass - Flashbacks in the Foyer. After touring the Maritimes for about a year promoting the album, Doug moved to Toronto to work with a management firm and work on his songwriting. Doug formed a band in Toronto with his best friend Patrick Sheahan called Alkaline. They played extensively in the Greater Toronto Area at venues like The Horseshoe Tavern, Lee's Palace, Jeff Healey's Bar and many more. Doug is currently in pre-production for his latest album, to be recorded in November with Producer Paul Milner. This latest album is due to be released in March of 2024. You can currently find Doug playing around the Kennebecasis Valley and Saint John areas with his brother, Dave Boyle, where they play tunes from the blues-rock/folk, new country and pop music genres, with a bunch of original songs mixed in.
