Irving Nature Park 30th Anniversary

Celebrate 30 years with the Irving Nature Park! They have some amazing special guests coming to offer some great information. All events are FREE to attend.

Start or finish your visit with a walk on one of the trails. Until 12PM, the top loop is closed to motorized vehicles.

10AM - 5PM: Monarch butterflies make their journey through the park every year. Stop by the Kiosk to learn how we help them along the way!

11AM - 3PM: Enjoy fries at the Cavendish Farms fry truck and meet the Park team members for a fun maze activity.

11AM: Learn all about the thousands of shorebirds that migrate through the Park with Hank Scarth at the Kiosk Shelter, followed by a walk on Saint's Rest Beach.

2PM - 4PM: Stop by the Gorge Rocks lookout to chat with Catrina from Stonehammer Geopark about the geological history of the park and the exciting evidence of our most recent Ice Age.

All events will occur rain or shine!
