Tree Canada is excited to celebrate National Tree Day, presented by BMO. This year will be the largest National Tree Day ever with planting events taking place across the country.

About this event

Join us on Wednesday, September 20th, to plant trees in your community and connect with nature.

Volunteers will learn how to plant and care for urban trees, so they provide benefits for years to come. Tree Canada experts and volunteers will be there to provide support and answer your tree questions. We’ll also provide gloves and shovels!

Parking:

  • Street parking is available on Rayland St. near Todd St.

What to Wear and Bring:

For an optimal experience, volunteers should wear and bring the following:

  • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots
  • Long pants
  • Water bottle
  • Weather-appropriate attire

This rain or shine event will take place unless the forecast calls for thunderstorms or very heavy rainfall.
