Saturday, August 12th – Steven Spears

Partridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

Noon - 3 PM

Steven Spears has 2 books (A Journey with the Lady & Under the Red Sheet) that he has written in the bookstore available for purchase. He will be at the container village to chat with anyone that wants to talk and sign his books.

 

Sunday, August 13th – Christopher Sweet

Partridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

Noon - 3 PM

Christopher Sweet has published 2 books, aptly named Something Sweet and The Boy in the Canvas. He will be at the container village to sign books, chat with fans, and give out swag and fist bumps.

 

Wednesday, August 16th – Sean Paul Bedell

Partridge Island Publishing Bookstore, Area 506

Sean Paul Bedell has written one novel, Somewhere There's Music, and he is interested in coming to the container to talk to readers and to sign copies of his book.

 

Saturday, August 19th & Monday, August 21st – David Goss

Partridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

1 PM - 3 PM

David Goss is not only a well-known author with numerous New Brunswick centric books to his name he is also famous for his Walk 'N Talk tours that he has been doing for decades. He does tours in Saint John and surrounding areas. He will be at the container village on both Saturday and Monday to sign copies of his books (of which we have 2 in store: New Brunswick Cottage and Campfire Chillers and Christmas Day By Day in New Brunswick). He will also be talking about his upcoming Fall Walk 'N Talk tours which will be booked through Partridge Island Publishing.

Sunday, August 20th – Paula D. Tozer

Partridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

Noon - 3 PM

Paula D. Tozer has two books that she would like to talk to fans new and old about. An Elegant Mind's Handbook (a self-help inspirational guide on how to get back your life in order after hardships) and Enchanting Treve, a historical fiction novel.

 

Friday, August 25th – Jon Hurd

Partridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

Noon - 3 PM

Jesus Farted and other uncomfortable thoughts is a book that sells itself. Jon is just at the container village to laugh with the readers as they stop, do a double take at the cover and then come buy a copy.

 

Saturday, August 26th – Joan Hall Hovey

Patridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

Noon - 3 PM

Touted as Canada's Mistress of Suspense, Joan has been writing for decades and has an impressive collection of titles to her name, but she's not done yet. On Saturday, August 26th Joan Hall Hovey will be releasing her newest book. Come down and talk to a lady with more experience in writing than most people will ever get. 

 

Sunday, August 27th – Elizabet Stevens

Partridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

Pamela Pollock's Perilous Adventure is a children's book about a little fish with a lot of heart, and the author Elizabet Stevens will be at the container village to sign copies of the book and talk to authors interested in writing children's stories.

 

Tuesday, August 29th – Co-Authors Helena Bennett and Lorena Robertson

Partridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

Co-Authors Helena Bennett and Lorena Robertson, better known in the literary world as Bennett Robertson are the co-creators of the successful Dragon's Eye Legacy series. A set of books about a young girl in Saint John, New Brunswick and her destiny to hunt dragons and keep the world a safe place. The authors will be here to sell and sign some books and to show off some of their new swag.

 

Wednesday, August 30th – Rosemary Pineau

Partridge Island Publishing bookstore, Area 506

Noon - 3 PM

Rosemary Pineau's memoir Just Call Me Teacher is an amazing look into the workings of the education system inside correctional institutions. She is interested in talking to readers, teachers, and anyone that wants to know more about what life was like for her. She has copies of her book available in the store and will be happy to sign copies.

Land acknowledgement

The Saint John Region is situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’Kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati Nations. This territory is covered by Peace and Friendship Treaties signed with the British Crown in the 1700s.
