The Saint John Jewish Historical Museum will be hosting the Holocaust Education Exhibit from Monday, November 20 to Friday, December 1, 2023.
This exhibit offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the Holocaust by viewing a selection of evocative photographs and propaganda posters, and reading the poignant stories of individuals who lived through the Holocaust.
The Holocaust Education Exhibit is designed to guide visitors through the rise of antisemitism, illuminating the disturbing events that culminated in the genocide perpetrated by Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945. With a blend of historical accounts and personal narratives, the exhibition explores the events surrounding Adolf Hitler's rise to power and bears witness to the unfolding of one of the most profound tragedies in human history. This exhibition acknowledges and pays tribute to the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust - a reminder of the importance of remembrance and reflection.
The Museum will be open to welcome the public on the following dates and times:
Monday to Friday, November 20 to 24, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Sunday to Thursday, November 26 to November 30, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Regular admission rates apply: $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family (parents and school age children).
