Uncork the spirit of Saint John as you explore the tastes, sites, sounds, and history of Canada's oldest incorporated city! Explore the oldest 6 day-a-week market in Canada at Saint John's City Market. While there, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Saint John's oldest fish merchants as you try Cold smoked, Hot Smoked and Candied East Coast Salmon at North Market Seafood!

The second stop will takes you to Quality Block where you will discover a passion for local quality cuisine as you sample local gourmet food and an artisan cocktail. Be exposed to Saint John's illustrious art scene at BMG art gallery, as you learn about the various pieces from its owner and local artist. You will even meet with a real-life brewer at Saint John's oldest craft brewery as you enjoy a flight of craft beer. Finally, you will sample a flight of wine at one of the best-hidden gems in the city, Happinez, the first wine bar in Atlantic Canada.

All this while learning about the history of Saint John, including why we DO NOT have a downtown only Uptown, The Great Fire, the stories about the Macy's of the Maritimes and lots more.

The duration is 2.5 hours with an easy to moderate activity level. This tour will have you walking approximately 6 blocks up and down the hills of Saint John.
