@Uber5000 Street Art Masterpiece

August 16 - September 01

Watch @Uber5000 bring his personal style from the streets of Graffiti Alley to Saint John spray painting a larger-than-life street art masterpiece.

Over the span of two weeks Allan will create an amazing mural on the back of Historica Development's Parrtown Place, facing Grannan Street, bringing his unique signature brand to #SaintAwesome.

Allan Ryan (Uber5000) is a Canadian artist born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Being raised by the sea, Allan developed a deep interest in marine life and the ocean as a child.  As he grew older and moved to Halifax NS, then Vancouver; he was exposed to graffiti artwork on walls and trains that influenced him to begin painting with aerosols.  He studied Printmaking at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and Illustration at OCAD University, which inspired him to take a different approach to outdoor murals.

Over the past decade, he has painted murals all over Canada and in particular Toronto where he now lives with his dog Hubble. In 2012, he painted ‘The Reef Wall’ in Graffiti Alley, which has become one of the most photographed murals in Toronto.  The mural covers approximately 7,000 square feet and has been published in The Washington Post, Vogue Magazine, The Conde Nast Traveller and is frequently seen in films shot in Toronto. www.uber5000.com @uber5000
