Bay of Fundy Seafood Tasting Tour

September 26 - May 04

FRESH is BEST, and it doesn't get much fresher than seafood on Canada's East Coast! Explore the oldest 6 day-a-week market in Canada at the Saint John City Market. While there you'll get a behind the scenes look at one of Saint John's oldest fish merchants, as you try Cold smoked, Hot Smoked and Candied East Coast Salmon at North Market Seafood! Enjoy oysters on the half shell at Port City Royal and sample an authentic Maritime "kitchen sink" Seafood Chowder along with a flight of craft beer. Finally, we will make our way to the Saint John Boardwalk, the entertainment hub of the city and the historic site of Market Slip, to taste and discover the amazing impact of sturgeon on the region. We finish with a short walk to the water's edge to share some fun facts about the Harbour and the marine life that makes their home there.

All this while learning about the history of Saint John, including why we DO NOT have a downtown only Uptown, The Great Fire, the stories about the Macy's of the Maritimes and lots more.

The duration is 2.5 hours with an easy to moderate activity level. This tour will have you walking approximately 6 blocks up and down the hills of Saint John.
