Step back in time at Barbour’s General Storesaintjohntourdesk.com
Barbour’s General Store is an authentic 18th century general store that was lovingly restored in celebration of Canada’s 1967 centennial and Barbours’ 100th year in business. It now serves visitors and locals alike as a General Store Museum and gift shop featuring local New Brunswick gifts. The building also plays host to the Saint John Tour Desk, offering a variety of Saint John tours and Visitor Information services.
The area outside the store is also home to People Waiting, a charming piece of public art by artist John Hooper.
